New Series from Meyers, Armisen, and Hader; Huebel; McHale; Comedy Music Awards.

Many renewals and Comedy Bang Bang gets picked up for a FORTY EPISODE 4th season!

Basically: IFC’s killing it.

Sunday Ratings for Resurrection

Resurrection was the second largest midseason drama premiere this season with 13.3 mill and 3.6 A18-49 only behind Intelligence which premiered behind NCIS.

To me Intelligence doesn’t even count because the lead in did most of the work for it but for Resurrection it premiered after Once Upon A Time which had a 7.3 mill and 2.3 A18-49.

ABC won Sunday with this premiere and not only that did it thru a very good marketing campaign. No special previews behind the best shows on their network actual good marketing which can’t be said for most shows anymore.

If viewers stick with the show, it will be the midseason break out hit hands down.

Fox’s Early Renewals What Do They Mean For The Rest of The Lineup?

All of their current lineup has been renewed with the exception of Family Guy, Idol, Almost Human, Raising Hope, Enlisted, Rake and the yet to premiere Surviving Jack.

Family Guy and Idol are the only two that are for sure going to be renewed.

Almost Human could go either way because it did okay ratings wise given it was a new show that lead the 8pm hour but it ended already which puts it only at 13 episodes with no back nine and so so ratings which is very just cause for cancellation.

Raising Hope has hit syndication numbers and was moved to Fridays to live out the rest of it’s season before it gets cancelled in May due to poor ratings.

Enlisted also doing bad on Fridays will most likely get cancelled as well due to performing well below Fox’s comedy average.

Rake was just moved to Fridays after dismal ratings on Thursday and was replaced by Kitchen Nightmares, Idol and soon Surviving Jack, with that accounted for the show is all but cancelled already.

Surviving Jack is a period comedy that is debuting after and Idol results show at 9:30 on Thursdays. It only has 8 episodes and with stiff competition from CBS and ABC I don’t think the series will last long and will probably be canceled come May.
